Family Life Married to Mrs. Evelyn Nkemdilim Ekpenisi, with 3 children.

Personal Interests

Beyond his pastoral duties, Bishop Ekpenisi is an avid reader, enjoys creating digital content, writing, and dedicating time to intensive prayer. He is a leader par excellence, an Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher, and Builder.

Birth and Education

Born at Agbor in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, the Bishop had his Primary, Secondary, and Teacher’s Training Education at Asaba. He is a First-Class Graduate of Christian Religious Studies and a trained mathematician.

  • University of Benin: Studied Mathematics.
  • 2001 (St. Paul’s Univ. College, Awka): Diploma in Theology (Distinction).
  • 2012 (University of Benin): Masters Degree in Educational Studies & Management.
  • 2018 (University of Abuja): BA in Christian Religious Studies (First Class, Top of Faculty).
  • Current (Ambrose Alli Univ, Ekpoma): Studying Masters in New Testament & Advanced Greek.

Church Ministry

Burdened with the call, he retired voluntarily from Public Service (teaching) in 1999. He served as a priest for 18 years across the Diocese of Ika and Diocese of Abuja before his consecration in 2018.
